About The Jam Session, Inc.

The Jam Session, Inc is a not-for-profit production and education arts

organization that produces live jazz music, including Latin and World Music,

through performances, recordings, broadcasts, and educational opportunities for

the people of Long Island and the Hamptons. The Jam Session brings live music

to the community it serves in various ways, including partnering with venues and

other arts organizations. Our ultimate purpose is to bring our diverse and

informed audience together through music, have shared musical experiences and

thus nourish the roots of the community.


The Jam Session, Inc. Productions:


Hamptons Jazz Fest:

Annual series of performances that bring world-class musicians in the fields of

Jazz, Latin, and World music to a diverse cross-section of populations in the End

End of Long Island, held in iconic venues throughout July, August and September.


Jazz Night:

Jazz Night is held weekly before a live audience at the Masonic Temple above

the Sag Harbor Whaling Museum. Jazz Night exists to provide a place in the

community where people of all ages and demographics can gather weekly and

enjoy world-class live music at low cost.


Winter Jazz Series:

Winter Jazz Series is a continuation of the summer Jazz Fest enabling us to

present world-class programming year round.


The Jam Session Radio Hour:

Sundays at 8 PM on 88.3 WLIW-FM and on podcasts for energetic live Jazz

performances from venues in our East End community on Long Island, NY.



International:

The Jam Session, Inc. partners with J. Chriss & Co to produce Jazz Points Ibiza,

Spain.
